קצע

קָצַע(b. h.; cmp. קָצָה) 1) to scrape. Neg. XII, 6 שניהן … קוֹצְעִין both neighbors must bear the expense for tearing out (the leprous stone) and for scraping (the wall); Sifra Mtsorʿa, Neg., Par. 6, ch. IV; a. e. 2) to cut, dry, and pack figs (v. קְצִיעָה). Taan.28a קוֹצְעֵי קציעית those pretending to be engaged in packing figs; Tosef. ib. IV (III), 7 (Var. קוֹצְאֵי); Y. ib.
